Dogs deserve the same socialization, love and pampering we enjoy ourselves — that simple belief built our Plano facility.
Our story
Waggin' Tails Doggy Daycare was founded around a very simple idea: dogs deserve the same socialization, love and pampering that we enjoy ourselves. Too many of our four-legged friends spend their days alone at home, bored and lonely, while their people are away. We set out to change that with a bright, spacious and safe place where dogs can play, make friends and come home happy and tired.
Today we care for our guests inside a beautiful 8,000+ square foot facility at the northwest corner of Parker and Alma in Plano, Texas — with separate, supervised play areas, RB® rubber flooring, wading pools, cozy boarding suites and a full-service grooming salon, all under one roof.
Our owner
Waggin' Tails is owned and led by Carolyn Russo (MS, CPDT, CDBC). Carolyn is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, and her training and behavior background shapes everything we do. Every dog who stays or plays with us is handled by a professional, positive-reinforcement team that knows dogs — not just a facility that happens to keep them.
Our mission
We exist to keep dogs safe, happy and well cared for while giving their people total peace of mind. That means supervised play, gentle and positive training methods, clean rooms, plenty of fresh water and treats, and staff members who genuinely love what they do. When your dog is here, they are part of our pack.
