The Waggin’ Tails grooming experience
Our experienced groomer, Jean, will give your dog far more than a bath and haircut. Each guest enjoys a luxurious shower using high-quality, all-natural Espree® shampoos and conditioners in our state-of-the-art doggie shower, which features a non-slip walk-up ramp for our larger pooches. Your beloved dog is then treated to a high-quality professional groom, a bandana, and a spritz of doggie cologne for that finishing touch.
Your best friend will never be kept in a cramped metal cage all day long. Our salon uses large Pet Mate crates for cage-drying dogs who don’t like the forced-air dryer — and our cage dryers have no heating element that could cause your pet to overheat, producing only gentle, mildly warm air. Once finished drying, dogs receive a blanket and treats and are kept in one of our deluxe private boarding suites until pickup, with plenty of potty breaks in our large, tree-lined fenced yard throughout the day.
Full SPA day
Many of our daycare clients enjoy a full SPA day: morning daycare playtime followed by an afternoon spa service, so you pick up a happy, beautifully coifed canine! Enjoy a reduced daycare rate of $18 per day when you also book a salon groom or bath.

Therapeutic shampoos
- Aloe Oatbath Shampoo — An oatmeal and aloe shampoo that moisturizes and soothes dry, itchy, irritated and inflamed skin.
- M+lacaid Shampoo — A medicated shampoo that brings relief for hot spots, flea-bite dermatitis, biting and scratching, plus skin problems caused by bacterial or fungal infections.
- Hypo-Allergenic Shampoo — A non-alkaline, detergent-free shampoo with aloe and vitamins A, D and E, designed for pets with very sensitive skin.
Teeth brushing and dental rinse
Brushing your dog’s teeth with Oxyfresh Oral Pet Gel keeps breath fresh and prevents the buildup of tartar that causes plaque. Plaque can lead to periodontal infections, tooth decay and even heart disease, so proper oral care now helps prevent serious health problems later. For best results, have your veterinarian clean your dog’s teeth annually, then maintain a regular brushing schedule once or twice a week.
Nail filing
Filing nails with a dremel tool lets us take the nail shorter than clipping alone, leaving a smooth, rounded edge that feels far better than the rough, jagged edges clipping can leave behind.
Flea and tick bath
Flea and tick shampoo kills what is on the dog but is not a preventative. For ongoing flea and tick prevention, ask your vet about a topical treatment such as Frontline.
Dirty Dog Fridays
When summer arrives, the pools come out (May–August every year)! Tired of a smelly dog for the weekend? Enjoy a nice clean dog after a hot, dirty Friday at daycare — get a bath for $10–$20 on Fridays while your dog is attending daycare.
Daycare & boarding rates
Our salon also shares full-service daycare and boarding pricing with the rest of the facility. All daycare packages are prepaid and good for 90 days.

Cancellation policy
The Dog Styling Salon has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If a customer fails to provide proper notice, their credit card will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee — $15 for a bath dog and $35 for a haircut dog. The cancellation fee may be applied toward future purchases of additional services, but not toward the cost of a bath or haircut.
Salon appointments
Due to the scheduling demands of the salon, we also request that you call to confirm your dog’s grooming appointment. We regret that we cannot provide service to any dogs who are not current on shots or titers. Required vaccination records are DHLPP, Rabies and Bordetella (every 6 months); titers are also accepted.
Dogs should be dropped off between 8 AM and 10 AM and picked up by 6 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays, dogs must be dropped off between 9 AM and 10 AM and picked up by 4:30 PM. A drop-off time must be specified when booking, and we require your credit card information at the time your appointment is made.
