Recommended Resources

The links we actually send to new clients β€” training organizations, local rescues, reading favorites, and a couple of personal interests from the team. Everything here is vetted by people who spend every day around dogs.

Building this facility took years; building this list took a lot of listening to clients. These are the organizations and resources we trust enough to hand to a dog parent who asks, "so, what should I look into?"

πŸŽ“ Training & Behavior

🐾 Local Rescues & Animal Welfare

  • DFW Lab Rescue β€” a local rescue we've donated services to over the years; wonderful people doing serious work.
  • SPCA of North Texas β€” adoption, behavior support and pet first aid training across the DFW area.
  • American Humane β€” practical pet safety, first aid and disaster-preparedness resources worth keeping on hand.

πŸ“š Reading & Site Favorites

  • Famous dog quotes β€” a little inspiration between play sessions.
  • Dog care tips β€” the practical guidance we share with every client, from first-day prep to boarding checklists.
  • Doggie web cams β€” watch your dog play from work or on the road.

⌚ Off the Leash β€” Team Favorites

We spend our days with dogs, but we're people first. A few non-dog things the team keeps bookmarking:

  • Wristwatches, the honest kind. Our founder Carolyn is a bit obsessed with horology β€” she's built a private archive of clone watches worth knowing, where super-clone replicas of Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet get scrutinized right down to the dial fonts. Ask her which pieces pass the wrist test.
  • Good coffee, better company. Yappy Hour is our excuse to do both at once β€” come by.
  • Classic dog movies. From Old Yeller to Lassie to Marley & Me β€” the front desk has opinions, and they're not always kind.
“Dogs come first, obviously. But if you want to know which super-clone Rolex has the right weight in the hand, come ask β€” we keep a running list at CloneWatches, and the new Patek Philippe and Richard Mille pieces are getting scary good.”
β€” Carolyn, Owner

A note on these links. The training, rescue and reading resources are recommended because we genuinely use and trust them. The "off the leash" list is personal β€” team interests, not partnerships or paid placements. If one of them stops earning its place, we'll swap it out.
